About Trudy

Trudy’s path with Yoga began sitting in a wheelchair after a traumatic car accident. Her GP mentioned that she was obese and needed to make some lifestyle changes. Her life changed in more ways than she thought possible. During this journey she lost 40 kilos, learnt to walk again and in just 3 short years of teaching yoga, has opened her second Yoga Studio.

At Yoga With Trudy there are many classes to choose from, ranging from Beginner, Intermediate, Yoga Sculpt (hand weights are used), Kids Yoga, Pregnancy Yoga, Mums N Bubs, Meditation, Konga Dance, Restorative Yoga and much more as Trudy hires her studio space out to other teachers and event holders.

Trudy encourages anyone to come along and try yoga for themselves, you never know what you can achieve until you try.

Trudy is  the only Pregnancy Yoga Teacher in the area with extensive knowledge of the pregnant body.   It's a beautiful place to learn safe ways to move, stretch, breathe and preparation for birth - with qualifications of Pre and Post Natal Yoga and Care, Post Graduate Diploma.

About Amy

I remember my very first yoga class almost twenty years ago, I went home feeling like ‘I was walking on clouds’ - my body limber and light, my mind so calm - the feeling was amazing.   In 2016 I undertook and graduated Yoga Teacher Training so that I could learn more about what yoga is.  My passion has deepened and I look forward to uncovering so much more!  I still float away after each session additionally the yogic tools have helped me develop greater self-acceptance, confidence, joy and inner stillness.  My hope is to share this amazing practice and its many wonderful benefits with you.

The yoga I teach incorporates hatha, vinyasa and pranayama (breathe work) for beginner to intermediate practitioners.

Yoga Sculpt 

Yoga Sculpt is a fusion class composed of traditional Yoga poses & athletic movements using your own body resistance, as well as light/medium weights. Using weights enhances muscle toning & general strength throughout the body, including some cardiovascular benefits. The approach challenges flexibility, balance, with emphasis on core strengthening postures. This is a challenging workout suited for mid to advanced fitness enthusiasts. Beginners that are keen with no injuries are welcome. Deb will offer alternate postures so everyone in class benefits to their best ability. Bring a Yoga mat, water, & towel. Join us for a refreshing diverse program that can change your body shape! Sculpt your way to a leaner, fit & confident you!

Amanda is a gorgeous mother of four beautiful children, Radiant Light Yoga Teacher, Co Founder of Yogic Threads and owner of Dancing Tree Yoga and Wellness.  She is passionate about giving back to the community, spreading joy and as a Certified Food and Well-being Coach loves making women feel their Best.  Amanda offers Yoga Classes suitable to all levels, Thai Yoga Massage, Thrive Sessions and Creative Workshops.
