Pre Natal / Pregnancy yoga classes are dedicated to women from 12 weeks gestation to full term to tone, relax and strengthen their body during their pregnancy.

This is such a wonderful opportunity to meet and discuss pregnancy-related topics with other women and take one hour of your day ‘just for you and your baby’.

You will learn techniques to stretch, breathe, relax, visualise, prepare for birth, and connect with other mothers in the room.   I teach moves and postures that are suitable for pregnancy, safe for you and your baby.

Many topics are covered including Preparation For Birth Classes, Hypnobirthing Australia Courses, Birth Doula and Post Natal Doula, mindfulness and most importantly connecting with baby and connecting with yourself.

Class costs

  • 4 Week Block, one class per week over 4 consecutive weeks ~ $70 paid in advance with the link below
  • Class time is Monday 6.45pm and bookings are essential.  (expression of interest for another class on Friday's at 5.30pm)

Our studio is equipped with carpet, air conditioning and bathroom facilities. 

Please bring your own mat, blocks and strap to class.

There’s no time to be bored in Trudy’s classes; she keeps you focused, moving, stretching & breathing. Every element of yoga is covered & Trudy’s beautiful deep spiritual connection with all her clients is so special; you feel like part of the family.

At the time of this review, I’m now 25 weeks & have upped my classes to twice/week because I’m finding them so beneficial for my physical & emotional health. I plan to continue my yoga classes with Trudy up until the birth of my baby & beyond! I’m looking forward to the Mums ‘N’ Bubs class!!!

Pregnancy yoga allowed my body to relax, stretch and prepare for a beautiful birth. Trudy created a warm and friendly environment, where I was able to connect with my body and baby. Trudy always ensured we moved in ways that were safe and appropriate for pregnancy. I loved the way she catered for our individual needs and asked if there were particular areas we wanted to work on.

During the active birth class, I learned how to position and move my body in ways that were beneficial for birth. I used these techniques during my labour and it was amazing how much better my labour was the second time around! By using the things I learnt with Trudy, I was able to stay at home right until the end of my labour and went on to have a wonderful drug free, natural birth. I would highly recommend this classJess

I found pregnancy yoga really relaxing during my pregnancy and looked forward to it.
I didn’t start until late in the pregnancy and found Trudy and the girls to all be really down to earth and welcoming. I started yoga with Trudy when I was pregnant with my daughter. I was still doing Pt and walking however I needed something that could stretch out my sore tired body. Little did I know that I would gain so much more from yoga other than a good old stretch. It allowed me to escape the many thoughts rushing through my head about my daily grind, about the changes that were about to happen in my life with the impending arrival of our bub and ease the emotions I was feeling with the increase in my hormones. I looked forward to each class and it was my little escape for the week. My me time. I believe this helped me to keep a level head whilst on the whirlwind pregnancy ride. I started pregnancy yoga when I was 16 weeks pregnant and went every week until a few days before birth. The classes were great. It was like a little bit of 'me time' in a busy week, and Trudy is lovely and makes everyone feel special and welcome.
It felt great to stretch and build strength in a safe way, and I could always tell Trudy what my aches and pains were that week and she'd suggest stretches and moves I could do at home.
We also did breathing exercises and moves that were useful during labour. In the end I had a 4 hour natural labour, and I think pregnancy yoga played a big part in having a quick and "easy" birth.Maryanne Hovde
