What is Yoga

 Yoga With Trudy will be closing the doors on 26th of August 2022.

Classes are only available for regular students until then.

All of our classes begin with breath awareness and gentle warm up; followed by a range of postures and practices designed to relieve tension, improve flexibility, nourish your mind-body, and spirit, strengthen and tone on every level; concluding with a deep relaxation or meditation.

Suitable for all levels including beginners. 

Beginner/Back Care Yoga

As Trudy has extensive personal experience with back pain, she now teaches her students about core awareness and activation.  So many people are in pain and have no idea of what to do, to help themselves.  Just a few stretches a day can help with most problems.  

We go back to basics, learn the postures properly, in-depth cues will have you understanding your body in no time.

Trudy has had two spine operations and her body does not bend or twist, but that's ok, because anyone can practice yoga, it's how you approach it that matters the most.

(Severe spine issues will require a clearance letter from your doctor before participating in class)

Beginner/Back Care Yoga - 4 Course 

Beginner Yoga Courses are in 4-week blocks, days and times are listed on the timetable.  Learn the very basis of yoga, the best place to start.  Your body is very important so we learn how to activate core muscles, good ways to sit, stand, and bend.  Please send me a message and we can find the right class time for you.

I started yoga because for many years i had a sore back and even though you manage pain everyday i really wanted to learn something to help myself. To be honest i didnt think yoga would help but i have been going to Trudy's classes for 3 years now.

I cant say that yoga has fixed my back (only surgery can do that) but i am aware of core stomach muscles, how to use them effectively, bend at the knees, back straight, i could go on forever :) im so happy that i have something in my life that lifts me up.


Tuesday night is MY night, i attend 5.15pm class every week without fail.

I started going to weekly yoga classes with Trudy almost 4 year ago now.

It has been such a welcoming experience where I can just be myself and leave my worries at the door. Trudy has taught me so much from simple breathing techniques to advanced poses. She offers classes to every person of every stage in every lifestyle.

I have been visiting Trudy at her yoga classes for approximately 18 months, and have been practicing yoga for around 2-3 years. Trudy’s classes are great because they cater to all skill levels and I always leaving energised yet relaxed.
